Food was delicious. Service was wonderful and scenery was gorgeous! We were so impressed. Our server was fantastic and they didn’t rush us at all. We stayed for 3 hours and had a lovely evening.

Wonderful outdoor setting with great bay views. The food was excellent and the presentation of the drinks was superior. Gluten-free and vegan options are available.

Food was excellent, ambiance was great and staff were fantastic. We ate here immediately after a long flight as we checked into the hotel and it was welcoming and exactly what we needed!

- Perfect Sunday breakfast
This place has a great breakfast menu and remarkable service. We had a great sear outside next to a fire pit in the sun on a cool morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and our time here. We will be back for sure!

- A Magical Waterside Experience
We read your reviews before visiting San Diego. Yes, Dockside 1953 is a must visit. We went for breakfast and studied all the menu options. I opted for the chilaquiles. The juice selection delighted, and the coffee did not disappoint.

Love this place! Nice variety of vegetarian options, plus the usual fare. Excellent craft cocktails… Our server Celeste was excellent and was very helpful and enthusiastic. We had to compliment the staff, so Aimee the GM came over to talk to us and she was great too… Will definitely be coming back!
