Annual Champagne Brunch with Spectacular Views

SAN DIEGO, California (November 2011) – The Bahia Hotel will celebrate Thanksgiving and welcome in the Holiday Season on Thursday, November 24th offering an elegant brunch buffet with hand-carved specialties, music, and sweeping bay views, on San Diego’s Mission Bay.

Served in the elegant Mission Bay Ballroom from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guests will enjoy the piano artistry of John Cain and spectacular views overlooking Mission Bay as they sample a dazzling array of breakfast and lunch favorites, including an omelet and waffle station, bacon and sausage, and assorted pastries. Carved items include Roast Tom Turkey, Spiced rubbed Pork Tenderloin, Herb crusted Salmon and Maple glazed ham. A special Kid’s Knee High Buffet, catering to a youthful palate with Chicken Dinos, Homemade Macaroni and Cheese, Pizza, Tater Tots, Mixed Fruit Salad, and Jello.

Accompaniments include three cheese au gratin potatoes, whipped sweet potatoes with crumbled walnuts; honey glazed carrots and parsnips, roasted brussel sprouts and crispy bacon, and cornbread stuffing. The famous Bahia Salad Bar features domestic and exotic greens and specialty salads, including a Green Bean Salad with toasted almonds, onions, and goat cheese, and peel and eat shrimp. A selection of assorted aged domestic and imported cheeses and a refreshing champagne fruit salad.

To satisfy the sweet tooth, choose from a selection of Tarts, delectable pies, and chocolate truffles. A flambé of Bananas Foster, and hot Bread Pudding southern Pecan Pie, sweet potato pie, and a pumpkin pie.

Brunch prices are $39.95 for adults and $19.95 for children ages 5 – 12 (those under 5 eat free), and include mimosas, champagne, and an invitation to come back and sail on the Bahia Belle sternwheeler. Enjoy a complimentary cruise on the waters of Mission Bay
