Bianchi Pizza & Pasta | Completed 2025

New in 2025, Bianchi brings a slice of Italy to Mission Bay. The restaurant showcases Neapolitan-inspired wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas, and classic Italian small plates. Guests can enjoy the warm ambiance from the al fresco patio, intimate dining room, or lively 12-seat bar. Every meal at Bianchi is a celebration of life’s simple pleasures.

New Meeting Venues | Completed 2025

Adding to its event offerings, the Bahia unveiled the Fountain Patio for a charming open-air setting. Accommodating up to 70 guests seated at rounds or 90 for standing receptions, the space is ideal for al fresco dining and receptions. In addition, the Bahia’s new Fountain Room offers a versatile boardroom setting that can be divided into two separate spaces using an airwall. Designed to inspire productivity, the venue is filled with natural light and provides the ideal environment for executive sessions, strategy meetings, and presentations.

Beach Club & Cabanas | Completed 2025

Located directly on Mission Bay’s beach, the new Bahia Beach Club features a full bar with deck seating. From frozen treats and refreshing libations to juicy burgers and light bites, this laid-back addition lets guests imbibe without leaving the beach. In 2020, the Bahia’s secluded beach was also refreshed with new beach cabanas along with an additional seating area with lounge beach chairs paired with umbrellas.

Palm Terrace & Pond | Completed 2025

Surrounded by lush palms and tropical gardens, the centrally located Palm Terrace venue has been enhanced with a new covered terrace, a modern pergola, upgraded landscape lighting, and dedicated restrooms for private events. Nearby at the pond, updates include a new pergola, refreshed landscaping, improved lighting, and expanded seating for events.

Pool Area | Completed 2023

Improvements to the pool deck include a brand-new pool deck with upgraded lounge furniture and umbrellas for added comfort and shade. The pool bar was also refreshed to offer a more functional and inviting space for poolside food and drinks.

Dockside 1953 | Completed 2022

Situated just steps from the beach and resort marina, Dockside 1953 is the nautical-inspired dining destination that opened in 2022. The eclectic menu features mouthwatering dishes to satisfy all palates for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Guests are spoiled with a spacious outdoor patio featuring cozy fire pits, covered trellis, and stunning unobstructed views of the bay.

Guest Rooms | Completed 2022

From 2019 - 2022, the guest rooms in the 300, 400, and 600 buildings underwent a top-to-bottom transformation. The design overhaul features a bright, beach esthetic with new wall coverings, carpeting, and drapes. All rooms were upgraded with new furniture, 65-inch TVs, faster Wi-Fi, and modern bathrooms. Ideal for longer family stays, select rooms include refreshed kitchenettes with quartz countertops or fully upgraded kitchens.

Ballroom & Event Spaces | Completed 2020

The Bahia’s 20,000 square feet of event space was refreshed to match the needs of modern gatherings. The Mission Bay Ballroom now features luxurious new carpeting, elegant window treatments, and eight eye-catching chandeliers. Other meeting rooms also received updates including fresh wallpaper, new ceiling finishes, and stylish lighting.

Lobby | Completed 2020

Guests are welcomed with an expanded lobby that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces thanks to the addition of striking fully retractable floor-to-ceiling glass doors. The design embraces the resort’s Moroccan-inspired aesthetic with stucco arches, zellige-style tilework, and lush landscaping.

Playground | Completed 2020

Families will love the upgraded playground surrounded by tropical landscaping. Kids can climb, slide, and explore without leaving the Bahia. The playground is conveniently located next to the resort's tennis courts.

Airstream Grab 'N Go | Completed 2019

For quick bites and fresh brews, stop by the Airstream café just outside the lobby. This reimagined vintage trailer offers breakfast and lunch options to-go, plus a variety of coffee and other beverages.
